This one is about matematicians. And I have to say, this is the best I've heard:
Couple of scientists decided to make an experiment. They invinted a physicist and a matematician and gave them problems to solve.
First problem had: an empty cup, unlimited amount of water, a tea packet and a working electric oven. The mission was to make a tea using the datum objects.
PHYSICIAN:
Fills the cup with water. Puts the cup inside the oven. Turns the oven on. When water started to boil, turns the oven off and puts the cup out. Puts the tea packet inside the cup.
MATEMATICIAN:
Fills the cup with water. Puts the cup inside the oven. Turns the oven on. When water started to boil, turns the oven off and puts the cup out. Puts the tea packet inside the cup.
After that, the scientists gave another problem to the subjects. The datum objects were the same. Only the cup was already filled with water this time. The mission was still the same, to make a tea.
PHYSICIAN:
Puts the full cup inside the oven. Turns the oven on. When water started to boil, turns the oven off and puts the cup out. Puts the tea packet inside the cup.
MATEMATICIAN:
Empties the cup and sais: "By this, we returned to the previous problem which we know how to solve"
